Impact tape (also called overlay tape) and face spray are low-cost diagnostic tools that stick or coat the clubface to reveal precisely where the club strikes the ball. Most tape versions adhere directly to the clubface and transfer a mark to the ball's surface, while spray products dust the face so contact creates a visible imprint.
